Awake, O Sleeper

Stop chasing worldly desires.
Stop feeding your fears.
Stop believing the lies thrown at you day after day.

You are worthy.
You are free.
You are called.

Stop sitting on the side of the road waiting for God to pick you up. Stand up. start walking with only one desire on your mind; to be in the center of Gods will for your life. God has already picked you up off the road, He is just waiting now for you to get in the front seat with Him as he takes you on your journey. God has a specific calling on your life and you cannot not deny it any longer.

Too many of us lose sight of our callings because we become caught up in ourselves. Self salvation. We get caught up in our personal, human made wills, instead of a divine will that our Holy God has planned for our lives.

Why would we create our own callings instead of following Gods? Because we fear the unknown. We, as humans, want to be in control of everything and if we cannot come up with an explanation, we push it to the side and ignore it. Stop living life this way. start walking a life of faith and giving control to an almighty God who created the entire universe, but yetstill desires an intimate, personal relationship with each and everyone of us. Live a life so uncomfortable that the only thing comfortable is your walk with God.

Ephesians 5:14 "Awake, O sleeper, rise up from the dead, and Christ will give you light."
Arise and follow the divine king that has far greater plans for our lives than our human minds could ever imagine.

The time is now. Not tomorrow. Not in two months. Not in a year. We all need to pray to awaken an urgency in our lives to realize that we may not have a tomorrow. Each one of us have a stopwatch on our lives that began the day we were born. None of us know how long we will live...so why are we living lives like we will live till we are 90. We need to awaken to the realization that we must commit to the moment, time, and place that we are in. Live every day as your last day and live with no regrets. We have secured the eternity of ourselves in heaven, so why are we still so caught up with worrying about ourselves? If I die tomorrow risking my life trying to secure the eternity of someone else, then My life would be worth it. Lay down your fears and comforts to be in the presence of our almighty God.

My life is not MY life, but Gods life that He will use to be his hands and feet to reach his lost children. We need to come to God with hands wide open and give ourselves completely and fully to him. He's there. He is Only waiting on us to come to him and say here I am God. And where you go, I will go because nowhere else comes even close to comparison of being in the presence of God.
